Nature Coast Explorers Club (NCEC) is Happening!!!

Take a moment and think back to when you were an eight year child; what made your eyes shine &  your heart happy?  I truly believe if we feed that enthusiasm of curiosity and genuine interest, especially as a child, the rate of true human potential grows exponentially.

I, along with a small group of 8-12 year old children from Montessori By The Sea, want to create a club for the out-of-doors; With the Gulf of Mexico as our front yard, we want to start our explorations under-water. Snorkeling!

A few children at our school have expressed interest in Scuba Diving; but before anyone begins diving they should feel comfortable and safe in the water.   These children are our future scientists, teachers, politicians, etc, so what better way to create stewards for our natural environment and overall well-being than fueling their passions.  The planet, especially OUR ocean, needs us, and through feeding clever minds with knowledge  from actual experiences, well, I cannot think of a better way to create a more positive world for our kids to love and enjoy. There's too much good out there to not dive in!

My goal is to raise a minimum of $1,000 to get this club started. This money will ensure that the members have adequate snorkels, masks, fins, safety gear, and a good time! As our club grows we will seek out more items, like kayaks, scuba gear, hiking/backpacking gear and so on. Our club will also raise it's own money  and create events for the local community to gain knowledge and become advocates of this spectacular place that we get to call home.

If you have a business that can donate items instead of money, or have any other awesome ways to give, please reach me by email or phone.
